How a “Ninja Like” LinkedIn Group System Created 1,326 Quality Prospects in 6 Months

Wow!  What an awesome hangout today with Don Brailsford talking about a LinkedIn Group System where he is building large LinkedIn Groups for financial professionals.   In particular, if you are a financial advisor, Don and his team create a group, build the group to 1,000+ local members, nurture it, do all of the hard work, position you as the “expert” and “go-to” leader, and then hand it over to you to run full time.

Some of the groups that they have created for advisors now have up to 16,000 LinkedIn members!  And keep in mind that some advisor is the “president and leader” of this group.  Kind of like being the president of your own virtual Chamber of Commerce!  Talk about being a celebrity and having some major authority!

So why would you want to have a LinkedIn Group System like this?

To begin, is there any reason that you would not want to become a celebrity in your area in 6 months or less?  Having a group of loyal, nurtured, and active LinkedIn members is the ultimate Tribe.  These people look up to you, they take your emails and your calls, and they open up doors that you never could have opened up otherwise.

Let me ask you a question.   Are you part of any groups on LinkedIn currently?  If so, what if the president of the group personally sent you an email asking for help or for a favor…would you respond?  Of course you would!  So think about yourself in the shoes of the president with a 1,000+ member group that all looks up to you.  This is exactly how numerous advisors have been able to ditch direct mail, ditch the expensive seminar dinners, and have relied solely on their groups for their workshops and networking events.  Don even shared with us that some of the advisors are having people in their group offer up the venue (for free) to host their event, another person offering up catering, and even guest speakers.

Essentially, this has changed the dynamics of marketing for financial advisors.

Oh, by the way, did I mention that you can email the entire group (it comes directly into their inbox) each and every day?
