BIG Announcement and a Favor…

Hey there financial advisors,

My brother Luke and I are VERY close to finishing our long-awaited financial advisor training course on “How to take your seminar presentation online without a camera, web developers, or fancy/expensive equipment.”

We have been working on this since May of 2013, but we are finally going to wrap it up. We can’t wait for you to see the full 1-YEAR case study that we did by putting up “UGLY” powerpoint presentations on YouTube without a camera or any equipment. You will be shocked at how much traffic and how many consumer leads that we generated.

Also, we are planning on releasing training video #1 for this course on September 3rd (right after Labor Day). So keep your eye out for an email with the first video training.

This course will be entirely focused on helping you take any seminar presentation, or any PowerPoint presentation online without any camera or fancy equipment, so that it can be working for you and SELLING for you around the clock. Furthermore, it will teach you how to do the following once your presentation is up on YouTube.

  • How to drive free traffic to your videos
  • How to get viewers to take action
  • How to build a landing page in minutes that is proven to convert traffic to leads
  • How to create leads every month from your videos with little to no investment
  • How to set up your autoresponder emails to court new prospects without lifting a finger

Overall, it will be a complete, 3-part, training on how to do build the entire funnel all by yourself (with no web developer, etc)

      If an advisor puts his seminar or presentation online, how do you prevent other advisors from stealing it

        Hey John, thanks for the question. This is a popular question, and probably one of the main reasons that many financial advisors are afraid to put their presentations online.I look at it this way…Would you rather protect and hold your presentation close to your chest and keep getting the same results, being able to only share your message and education with small groups…ORShare it with everyone, become a true Authority, create leads in your sleep (like I will teach you how to do every single month like clockwork), and grow your business like never before.I have seen countless financial seminar presentations over the last 13 years (across the country), and I have yet to see one that is 100% original. Even the very best seminar presenters “legally swipe” ideas, a certain slide, or a concept from other presentations that they have seen or been exposed to in the past. Personally, I would rather take the risk that some agent or advisor might copy some of my stuff if I could be looked at as the #1 authority on the subject. And the only way to be the #1 authority is to be in the public eye.Finally, I will leave you all with this. In our YouTube case study that we will be sharing with you next month, Luke and I created over 80 short presentations that created hundreds of consumer leads, resulted in over 136,000 views on YouTube, and have set us up as an authority. I have yet to hear about someone “stealing” or taking any of our presentations.And if they do, shame on them. Not to mention, they will most likely be exposed at some point as taking it public first gives your proof that you were the original. Don’t let someone else beat you to the punch.

      Topic Ideas for Upcoming Training1.  Should the seminar be one presentation?  Or broken up into smaller chunks that are presented in a series?2.  Recommendations for editing software.3.  YouTube how-to on the little things that make a big difference; like how to select the thumbnail rather than letting YouTube choose one for you.

      Linda, you are very wise to build a list! We found that was one of the big game-changers for us when we decided to focus on list building. Because once you have a good list of loyal followers (a Tribe), your message can be spread to hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands (depending on your list), with the click of a mouse. Pretty awesome leverage!We will be showing you exactly what landing pages and opt-in boxes that we used to create so many leads with our simple PowerPoint YouTube videos.

    I am curious to know the software you are using to produce the powerpoint presentations. More importantly, I’d like to know more about how your SEO works, as well as how you are converting traffic using these PP presentations.

    I’m looking for insight into how to be compelling to the average person, and not fall into the usual logical, Spock-mode-thinking that advisers (especially me) can fall into. It’s hard to “get” that what interests me is probably NOT what interests my prospects.I’d like you to address that.

    How do you deal with the compliance issues? And would You Tube still work if a person cant leave any comments. In my state, leaving comments on social media websites is considered a testimonial which is forbidden in any advertising and is highly regulated.

      Hey Biran,

      Great question! Within any YouTube channel, you can completely turn OFF comments on all of your videos (and entire YouTube Channel). That is how advisors with stricter BD’s and stricter states are able to use YouTube.

      In regards to compliance approved content, that is really between you and your BD/OSJ. If you can get any presentation (and script) approved, then you are off to races, because the next step would be recording the exact script and presentation from your computer. Then you put it on YouTube. Then you drive the free traffic.
