- Knowing your ideal prospect is crucial. The great news is that Facebook has everyone’s information and knows more about people than most of their spouses do. Now you must tell them EXACTLY who you are looking for so they can hone in on your ideal clients.
- Once you have your ideal client locked down, then you must have a powerful advertisement which would include a picture (or video) that stands out, a powerful headline, an enticing offer and call to action, and finally a congruent landing page to capture lead information.
Now I don’t want to give away all of the secrets in this blog (as I really hope you go watch this entire “awesome” video above), but I would be remiss if I didn’t share just how powerful marketing on Facebook can be. For instance, did you know that you can create an advertisement and only have it shown to people on Facebook who have liked or commented on your #1 competitor’s Facebook page? Meaning, you could literally only market to people that are already fans of your competitors, which make them easy targets to convert.
You can also target celebrities, huge brands in your market (Nathan shows us an example of this by creating a test advertisement only going after people who have liked the Merrill Lynch Facebook fan page), or as I already mentioned, your competitors.
And unlike Google pay-per-click where you really need to be spending thousands per month to play, Facebook Marketing for Financial Advisors can be done for under hundreds per month.
