Discover the Small Website Change That Increased Our Leads 119%

Episode 2 of 31 in March Hangout Madness occurred on a Sunday so all of the digital marketing for financial advisors tips, tricks, and how-to’s were done by myself and my bro Luke Simonds (sans guests).  And on this episode, we discuss how one small change in our website landing pages literally doubled our conversation rates from around 15% to well over 30%.

What does that mean you ask?  Well that means that for every 100 people that visit our site (keep in mind that these people do NOT know who we are, thus total strangers), 15 of them gave us their information.  And with the small tweaks that we implemented, the number jumped up to 37%!!!

Why this is so important in regards to Digital Marketing for Financial Advisors?

Now some of you might be scratching your head wondering if 37% is an impressive opt-in percentage…let’s just say that the majority of financial advisor sites get less than 1% conversion rates…and that is with a big portion of visitors who already know you!  So imagine what kind of leads (and thus larger list) you would have if your website went from 1% to 15% to 37% conversion rates!  I am not  math major, but that is a HUGE percentage increase.

So what is the website tip that financial advisors can be using in their digital marketing practices?  I will tell  you that it has to do with what information you are asking for from  your ideal prospects on your website.  It also has to do with the sequence of how they opt-in on your site.  But for the best explanation, check out the actual video where Luke actually shares his screen and shows you exactly what we did to see our leads double almost overnight.  We even tested out our theory on one of our financial friend’s websites this past month and the results were spot on with what we found.
