You are going to thank me for this one! Just call this book recommendation an early Christmas gift from your ol’ pal Joe Simonds. And if you are a father, go ahead and buy this one today as a personal Father’s Day gift for yourself. The book that I am going to recommend is by far the best marketing book for financial advisors in 2014 that I have read. In fact, this is one of those books that as I was reading it, I kept thinking how excited I was to share this with the financial advisors (like you) who have been following us all year.

This book missed the cutoff for my incredibly popular blog called “The Top 10 Must Read Books for Financial Advisors” a month ago simply because I had not read this one yet. But it certainly trumps most of those and if you are going to read any book this year, please make it this one. I read books like crazy, and I have not come across anything that spelled out the future for financial advisor marketing like this book.

The book is called Youtility by Jay Baer and it not only will tell you exactly how to create the most powerful long-term marketing tool for your business that you can imagine, it even gives you numerous examples of other small and large businesses that have incorporated this marketing secret.

The foreword alone about a small business pool owner who was getting close to closing his company and now is making millions from this one secret (which cost him hardly any money) is worth the entire price of admission.
