The name of my guest today is Ryan Wheless, when Ryan is not helping his clients with his firm Allied Wealth in Houston, Texas…you can find him out flying his plane, wake surfing on the lake or jumping off helicopters onto fresh powdered snow and snowboarding all the way down.


They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and Ryan’s production numbers are no different… Since 2008, Ryan has sold $160M in annuities along with $5 million in target life, and since he got his Series 65 license he has gathered $75M AUM.

Here’s the kicker, Ryan only works 8 months out of the year and does more in production than advisors who hammer it out all 12 months of the year, back-to-back, week-to-week.

Ryan is a big believer in giving back to his community and he’s actively involved in giving to the Wounded Warrior project. At every one of Ryan’s seminars, he matches any donation dollar-for-dollar. Through Wounded Warrior, Ryan has donated $120,000 to veterans in need.

Despite Ryan’s accomplishments, he’s actually a humble guy and what I really appreciate about him is his willingness to pay it forward to other advisors and share with our community the hard lessons he’s learned along his journey to the top.
